Franz Deventer
Franz Deventer (born September 11, 1890 in Dalhausen , † January 10, 1952 in Korbach ) was a German trade union secretary and politician ( SPD ).
Deventer was the son of the businessman Augustin Deventer and his wife Marie Josefine Johanna nee Sobirey. He married Christiane Käthchen Meißner on June 9, 1917 in Erfurt. Deventer worked as an electrician. He joined the SPD and the union and became a full-time union secretary. During the November Revolution he was a member of the Workers 'and Soldiers' Council. From 1922 to 1925 he was one of the four SPD members in the Waldeck regional representation .
