Franz Enderli

Franz Enderli (born December 4, 1954 in Altdorf ; resident in Wassen ) is a Swiss politician ( CSP OW ).

Political offices

Enderli was a member of the cantonal council of the canton of Obwalden from 1999 to 2009 , which he headed as cantonal council president in the 2007/08 office year. From 2009 to 2018 he was a member of the government council , where he headed the education and culture department and deputy head of the security and justice department. In the official years 2011/2012 and 2015/2016 he was Country governors (Vice-President of the Governing Council) and in the Official year 2012/2013 and 2016/2017 he was Landammann (President of the Executive Council) of the Canton of Obwalden. At the end of the legislative period on June 30, 2018, he resigned from the government council.

Life

Enderli completed a degree in theology in Lucerne and Vienna, from which he graduated. From 1981 to 1996 he worked as a lay theologian in the parish of Kerns . From 1996 to 2009 he headed the catechetical work and media office in Obwalden and was a religious teacher and middle school chaplain at the St. Fidelis College in Stans .

Enderli is a father of three and lives in Kerns .
