Franz Ferdinand Joseph Graf von Schaesberg (born January 8, 1733 in Düsseldorf ; † August 31, 1759 there ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Franz Ferdinand Joseph Graf von Schaesberg grew up as the son of Johann Wilhelm von Schaesberg (1696–1768, Chancellor in Jülich and Berg) and his wife Rosa Veronica Magdalena von Westerholt zu Lembeck together with his brother Karl Franz in the noble family von Schaesberg . In 1705 the family by the emperor was I. Joseph in the imperial counts were collected. His grandfather Johann Friedrich Freiherr von Schaesberg (1598–1671) was governor of Elector Johann Wilhelm and married to Ferdinande von Wachtendonck. This is how the family came into possession of Krickenbeck Castle .

Act

By receiving the tonsure on 31 December 1747 Franz Ferdinand was prepared for a spiritual life and received a year later by his uncle Johann Friedrich a Dompräbende in Munster to him as Turnar had fallen. From July 1753 to August 1754 he studied canon law in Dijon . On August 31, 1759 he appointed the cathedral dean von Fürstenberg and the canon von Boeselager as executors. He died that same day.
