Franz Grudge

Franz Groll (* 1943 ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and non-fiction author.

He initially worked for 26 years as a computer hardware engineer and then became a manager at IBM . He later went to Jérémie (Haiti) as a development worker with his wife Marie-José for five years . For this he received on June 19, 2000 the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. Of interest in business processes and the question of whether economic growth is necessary, he studied at the age of 60 years Economics .

From the CDU , which he joined in 1963, he came through the Greens to the WASG in 2004 , of which he was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state board. Groll is also involved with Attac .

In the WASG, Groll advocated the founding of a left party movement, but at the federal party congress in 2007 with the minority of delegates against the agreement to unite with the Left Party. Groll lives near Stuttgart, is married and has five children.
