Franz Januschek

Franz Januschek (* 1949 in Hamburg ) is a German specialist in German .

Life

He studied general linguistics, philosophy and computer science at the University of Hamburg (1976 doctorate ). Since 1976 he has taught and researched German studies at the University of Oldenburg (1985 habilitation ). Since 1986 he has been a freelance linguist in Ollnborg (Sprachbüro Oldenburg and transcript language and communication consulting). Further teaching and research at the universities in Braunschweig , Dortmund , Duisburg , Flensburg , Hamburg, Innsbruck , Oldenburg (there in 1992 appointment as extraordinary professor for German linguistics), Osnabrück , Szeged and the PH Weingarten .

His research areas are critical discourse analysis and political linguistics, language theory and language awareness, language games and language tinkering.
