The Romanesque hall church dates back to the year 874. She was in 17./18. Rebuilt in the 19th century. The square choir tower in the east was given a slate-roofed dome on which a lantern sits. In the bell cage hangs a bronze bell made by Franz Schilling in 1921 and a hard cast iron bell cast by Schilling & Lattermann in 1956 . A rectangular recessed choir with a straight end is attached to the choir tower , there is a narrow ogival window.
The nave , which is covered with a gable roof , has two-story galleries on the west and north sides and is covered with a wooden barrel vault. A round-arched triumphal arch connects to the former choir, which originally had a groin vault and is now divided into two floors by a flat ceiling . The retracted choir is spanned with a pointed barrel vault. The choir arch is walled up on the east side . Romanesque consoles made of tuff and an offering box have been preserved . The organ has 2 manuals and a pedal . It has 13 registers and was built by Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Böttcher in a neo-Gothic prospect .
