Franz Joseph in Bavaria
Franz Joseph Michael Karl Maria Evaristus Quirinus Ottokar Herzog in Bavaria (born March 23, 1888 at Tegernsee Castle , † September 23, 1912 in Munich ) was a Bavarian prince.
Life
Franz Joseph was born as the fifth child of Duke Carl Theodor in Bavaria and his second wife Marie José of Portugal on March 23, 1888. He suffered from polio and died on September 23, 1912 at the age of 24 in Munich.
Through his connection with Lilly Stockhammer (* 1891, † 1952), later among others Princess of Prussia, he became the progenitor of the von Plottnitz-Stockhammer family . He is the grandfather of the politician Rupert von Plottnitz .
