Franz Kaiser (politician)

Franz Kaiser (born December 18, 1890 in Rauisch-Holzhausen, today with the spelling Rauischholzhausen, part of Ebsdorfergrund ; † August 8, 1988 in Marburg -Wehrda) was a farmer, long-time local politician and member of the Prussian state parliament in the second electoral period from 1924 to 1928 for the German People's Party . In old age he worked as a local historian.

On May 21, 1922, Kaiser was accepted into the Freemason lodge Marc Aurel zum Flammenden Stern in Marburg; he belonged to her until 1925.

In 1981 he was awarded the Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany.
