Franz Kollasch
Franz Kollasch (born October 3, 1923 in Eitorf ) is a German actor .
Life
Kollasch learned his trade from 1946 to 1948 at the Institute for Performing Arts in Cologne and made his stage debut in 1948 at the Westdeutsche Landestheater Neuss as Leander in Franz Grillparzer's Des Meeres und der Liebe Wellen . This was followed by stage engagements at the Theater im Zimmer Aachen in 1951/52, at the Stadttheater Konstanz and at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen . He played under many well-known directors; He worked with Ingmar Bergman in the Molière adaptation Don Juan , with Samy Molcho in Der Neger after Jean Genet , with Karl Fruchtmann in Krankensaal 6 after Anton Chekhov , with Tom Toelle in Question Time and with Eberhard Itzenplitz in Chekhov's Three Years and The Misunderstanding in the life of Mr. Knöbel . He also starred in two films in the Tatort series alongside Götz George as Commissioner Schimanski. Kollasch's rare cinema productions include Alexander Kluge's Der stark Ferdinand and Wolfgang Petersen's drama Die Konsequenz with Jürgen Prochnow .
In addition, Kollasch worked as a spokesperson for film dubbing and radio. For example, he took part in the radio play Der Revolutionär at NWDR Cologne.
