Franz Locher
Franz Thomas Locher (born December 23, 1965 in Sarnthein ) is a South Tyrolean politician.
biography
As a farmer, Locher manages the Oberhöllerhof in Sarntal . In addition, he was involved in the South Tyrolean farmers' union and since 1995 in community politics. In 2005 he was elected mayor of Sarntal as a candidate of the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP) and was confirmed in 2010 and 2015. In the state elections in 2018 , Locher won a mandate for the South Tyrolean state parliament and, at the same time, the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol with 11,025 preferential votes on the SVP's list .
