Franz Meier (painter)
Franz Meier (* 1933 in Kempten (Allgäu) ) is a German painter.
Life
Meier graduated from high school in Landsberg am Lech in 1952 . He then studied painting until 1958 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Franz Nagel . Until 1993 he was an art teacher at high schools in Munich, Oberstdorf and Sonthofen . Meier lives in Sonthofen.
Exhibitions
Meier takes part in the annual exhibition Die Südliche (2003/2012).

- 2007: Oberallgäu Art Prize on the Südlichen in the area The small format
