Franz Paul

Franz Paul (born March 21, 1911 in Essen , † April 15, 1985 in Hamburg ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Franz Paul attended elementary school from 1917 to 1925 . He then completed a commercial apprenticeship. In addition, he attended vocational school. From 1928 to 1933 he earned his living as a clerk and was a youth leader in the Bund der Kaufmannsjugend. From 1933 Paul worked full-time as a district youth officer at the DAF and from 1936 took over the office of a social department head at the HJ and at the same time worked as a district youth officer at the DAF. After the beginning of the Second World War he did military service. From mid-August 1942, as HJ Oberbannführer, he was in charge of the HJ area in Hamburg and in June 1943 was appointed alderman of the city of Hamburg.

On August 5, 1943, Paul joined the National Socialist Reichstag as a replacement for the late MP Wilhelm Kohlmeyer , in which he represented constituency 34 (Hamburg).
