Francis Sales Pernat
Franz Sales Pernat (born July 4, 1853 in Munich ; † February 20, 1911 there ) was a German portrait painter .
Pernat studied from October 20, 1869 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Wilhelm von Diez , August von Ramberg and Wilhelm von Lindenschmit the Younger . After completing his studies, he dealt with portrait painting, especially for the upper and upper classes. Franz von Lenbach helped him with advice. Pernat also created a plaster portrait of Lenbach, which was exhibited in his estate exhibition in Munich's Glaspalast in 1911 .
