Rudolf Hasenstab (born June 17, 1932 in Rothenbuch ) is a Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

On July 17, 1955, he was ordained a priest in Würzburg . He was chaplain in St. Kilian (Schweinfurt) and from 1957 in Assumption of Mary (Bad Neustadt) . From 1961 he was a curator in Maidbronn . In 1965 he became a research assistant at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Würzburg . From 1977 until his retirement in 1998 he taught as professor for moral theology and social ethics at the religious education faculty of the University of Eichstätt . In the municipality of Eitensheimhe worked as a pastor for 32 years and was made an honorary citizen . In 2009 he returned to Rothenbuch, where he was also made an honorary citizen in 2015.
