Franz Schoch

Franz Schoch (born March 3, 1762 in Überlingen , † August 10, 1813 in Peterstal ) was a bailiff of the Speyer monastery and, after its dissolution, in the Baden state service, where he became the chief executive, comparable to a current district administrator .

Franz Josef Schoch was the son of Johann Georg Schoch and Anna née Keller. He married Maria Regina, nee Hummel (born September 15, 1770, † December 4, 1802) on November 25, 1793. From this marriage there were two children: Georg Christoph (* January 15, 1798 - August 22, 1798) and Maria (* June 16, 1799).

Life

Schoch was a clerk at the Kirrweiler office until 1794 and then at the Kislau office . After the part of the Hochstift Speyer on the right bank of the Rhine became Badisch, Schoch was accepted into the Baden civil service and from 1804 was the head of the Philippsburg office , where he was promoted to senior bailiff on January 20, 1810.
