Franz Siebe

Franz Siebe (born March 10, 1898 in Metz , † September 24, 1970 in Georgsmarienhütte ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Franz Siebe came to Glane in the Osnabrück-Land district as an orphan in 1904 and attended elementary school there, after which he completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. As a teenager he was a member of the Christian Union . In the years 1917–1919 he did military service, after which he returned to his learned profession as a locksmith.

From April 20, 1947 to April 30, 1951 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (1st electoral period), since March 28, 1951 as a member of the DP / CDU parliamentary group.

A street in Georgsmarienhütte was named after him.
