Franz Sinnhuber

Franz Sinnhuber (* 1869 in Willkoschen, Gumbinnen ; † 1928 in Königsberg ) was a German doctor and medical officer.

Life

Sinnhuber came from a family of exiles from Salzburg . He studied medicine at the Albertus University in Königsberg , which made him a Dr. med. PhD. Then he joined the medical service of the Prussian Army . In 1904 he was transferred to Königsberg as a medical officer to the Grenadier Regiment "King Friedrich Wilhelm I" (2nd East Prussian) No. 3 , and at the same time took over the management of the internal department of the Hospital of Mercy. In 1912 he became regimental doctor in the foot artillery regiment "von Linger" (East Prussian) No. 1 in Königsberg. In 1913 he was appointed professor .

At the beginning of the First World War he was appointed chief physician of the fortress hospital. Adopted as General Senior Physician in 1918 , he worked in his hospital position until the end of his life. He was valued as a family doctor .
