Franz Stupp

Franz Stupp (born January 19, 1862 in Müggenhausen Castle ; † September 11, 1933 in Düsseldorf ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Stupp attended the elementary school in Müggenhausen, the community school in Kerpen and the high schools in Düren and Neuss . In 1886 he became a trainee lawyer, in 1891 a court assessor, in 1898 a public prosecutor and in 1908 a regional judge in Düsseldorf. He was also Captain of the Reserve of Field Artillery Regiment No. 23 and holder of the First Class Landwehr Service Award . He was also director of the Düsseldorf local department of the agricultural association for Rhine Prussia, member of the Chamber of Agriculture of the Rhine Province, and second chairman of the non-profit company for milk serving in Rhineland and Westphalia.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency district of Aachen 5 Geilenkirchen , Heinsberg , Erkelenz and the German Center Party .
