Franz Windhager (architect)
Franz Windhager (born January 7, 1906 in Bad Ischl ; † July 30, 1993 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian architect .
Live and act
Franz Windhager was born in Bad Ischl. He completed a degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing.) And worked as an architect in Salzburg. His work mainly includes church buildings, for example he planned the church Maria an der Straße in Pfandl or, together with Clemens Holzmeister, the renovation of the Salzburg Andräkirche . Franz Windhager was married to the writer Juliane Windhager . The grave is located at the Salzburg-Aigen cemetery.
