Vorderthiersee parish church
The Roman Catholic parish church Vordertherisee is located in the village of Vorderthiersee in the Thiersee municipality in the Kufstein district in Tyrol . It is consecrated to St. Margaret and belongs to the Deanery of Kufstein in the Archdiocese of Salzburg . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

The parish church stands on the slope above the Thiersee in the village of Vorderthiersee.
history
In 1315 a church is mentioned for the first time. The church was rebuilt in 1686 and after a fire in 1703. In 1891 the parish was founded. The present church was built in 1967 according to plans by Franz Windhager while retaining the baroque round apse and the Gothic church tower.

The church tower has arched sound windows and a pointed gable helmet. The choir windows were made by Albert Birkle in 1968.
Furnishing
The sacrament house , the lectern and the door fittings are made of bronze . The baroque console statues represent Maria Immaculata - from the first half of the 18th century, as well as the Saints Peter , Johannes Ev. , Joachim , Georg , Florian , Philippus , Josef and Andreas - from the end of the 18th century -. Michael Werner painted the oil painting of St. Margaret in 1860.
