Franz von Linhardt

Franz Ritter von Linhardt (* 1793 ; † May 19, 1876 in Vienna ) was a kk lawyer , general auditor and head of the 17th department of the War Ministry.

biography

Nothing is currently known about Linhardt's origins and early years. In 1837 the doctorate in law was appointed staff auditor and consultant in Timisoara , then on January 30, 1838 the staff auditor in the Banat was appointed general-auditor-lieutenant at the General Command in Moravia. In 1839 he was in the same office at the Imperial and Royal General Military Command in Austria above and below the Enns.

With the highest resolution of December 3, 1847, the emperor appointed the lieutenant general auditor and advisor at the general command in Moravia, Franz Linhardt, as the first lieutenant general auditor at the general command in Lower Austria. In 1849 he was appointed to the Military Appeals Council.

Emperor Franz Joseph I appointed the Colonel Auditor Franz Linhart as General Auditor and Consultant at the Supreme Military Court in Vienna on April 20, 1853. On September 9, 1854 in Vienna he was promoted to the hereditary-Austrian knighthood. He was also decorated with the Civil Merit Cross.

From June 1853 to September 1856, Linhardt was head of Department C and consultant in the Supreme Military Court.

After the nobleman had subsequently become head of section 27 (from May 10, 1858, 23rd section) at the Supreme Military Justice Senate, he was promoted to head of the 17th department at the War Ministry on January 1, 1861. At his request, he was taken into retirement on August 1, 1864, with the announcement of the utmost satisfaction for his many years of excellent service.
