Franziska Liebing

Franziska Liebing (born February 6, 1899 in Munich ; † January 3, 1993 there ) was a German actress .

Career

Liebing belonged to the ensemble of the Schauspielhaus in Munich from 1925 to 1930 and was seen on stage at the Meininger Theater in 1931/32 . After a few years without commitment, she was under contract with Gustav Bartelmus , Richard Handwerk and Bernd Königsfeld in Berlin .

From the 1950s she took part in a number of Bavarian television and film productions, for example in the series Funkstreife Isar 12 , in The Strange Methods of Franz Josef Wanninger and in 1979, directed by Kurt Wilhelm, in the film adaptation of Ludwig Thomas ' farmer's novel Der Ruepp .

Her grave is in the old part of Munich's Westfriedhof (grave 157-W-24).
