Franzjosef Müser

Franzjosef Müser (born April 24, 1897 in Daseburg , † June 27, 1976 in Norden ) was a German CDU politician .

Life

After graduating from high school in Warburg , Müser, who was a Roman Catholic , studied law. After passing both state exams, he was initially a court assessor from 1924. From 1926 to 1942 he worked as a lawyer and notary. In 1942 he became legal advisor at Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG and was then a board member of the Bochum Association from 1945 to 1953 , before becoming mine director of the Carolinenglück and Count Moltke collieries .

Müser participated in the founding of the CDU in Bochum. From 1956 to 1963 he was their district chairman. Müser was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1965 . In 1953 and 1957 he won the Bochum constituency directly and in 1961 he entered parliament via the CDU's state list in North Rhine-Westphalia. From 1946 on, Müser was also a member of the Bochum city council.
