Chairperson Kienraching

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The chairmanship of Kienraching is an old administrative district between Dorfen and Taufkirchen , a few kilometers south of the latter. This existed from the late period of the Duchy of Bavaria-Landshut to the late period of the Electorate of Bavaria . The associated places were at the intersection of the former communities of Eibach , Hofkirchen and Taufkirchen . These are the villages of Kienraching and Angerskirchen , the hamlets of Frauenvils, Schnaupping, Herrnöd and Babing, and the wasteland of Mühlberg. The following are verifiable as administrative chairmen: 1571 Steffen Zehetner (mercenary in Kienraching) and 1808 Otto Heilmayr (Wimmer von Herrnöd).

Kienraching

Kienraching is a church village with just over 100 inhabitants, which lies (to the east) just off the B 15 and extends up a hill in the upper Great Vils Valley. It was first mentioned in 1133 in relation to the nobleman Adalo . Since 1770 the Leonhardiritt to the church has been held in the village .
The Leonhardikirche is a perfectly shaped church building from 1669, outwardly slightly remodeled by Johann Baptist Lethner in the Rococo style, with a saddle roof tower, which was unusual for this time of construction . The furnishings are from both periods of art.

Angerskirchen

Angerskirchen is an ancient church town (8th / 9th century), which was called Ongerskirchen in the 13th century . The village is located one kilometer southwest of Kienraching and also has just over 100 inhabitants. The St. Martin's Church is a four-bay building with a three-eighth end and buttresses shaped in baroque style. The exterior is predominantly Baroque, but all components are from the late Gothic. The tower received a new attachment in the upper area including the onion in the baroque era. The equipment comes from the renovation phase.

Frauenvils

The northernmost place of the chairmanship was Frauenvils , just outside Taufkirchen. Frauenvils is also an old church town. In the hamlet of approx. 30 inhabitants on a small hill, there was a small castle in the High Middle Ages . When the church was built , the keep was used as a church tower. The year 1380 is carved on a red marble slab in the church. The Marienkirche corresponds to the exterior and interior of a late Gothic church. The miraculous image on the high altar was created around 1480.

Babing

The hamlet of Babing , located between Angerskirchen and Kienraching on the B 15 , was formerly a seat of the lowest nobility. 1356 named as the seat of the Päbinger , which was a simple noble seat in the style of the half-timbered buildings with south- old Bavarian character. The building has disappeared since the middle of the 18th century.
