Fred Sackmann

Fred Sackmann (born September 29, 1927 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † January 6, 2008 in Bühl (Baden) ) was a German television presenter, author, television chef and pharmacist.

Sackmann was discovered by director Dieter Pröttel in the mid-1960s . First of all, the man from Baden hosted the TV show Talentschuppen and reported on the Mainz Carnival for Südwest 3 .

In 1969, Fred Sackmann developed the game show Punkt, Punkt, Komma, Strich , which he hosted until 1971. After some conceptual changes, the show went on air in 1972 under the title Monday Painter with Frank Elstner in the evening program of ARD. From 1975 to 1976 Sackmann moderated the guessing game Typ-Tip for the third program of Südwestfunk and from 1981 to 1983 the TV psychology game Mensch Meier . In addition, the doctor of pharmacy was the founder of the Mittelbadisches Wasserlabor.
