Fred Williams

Fred Williams (born February 9, 1938 in Munich ; as Friedrich Wilhelm Locher ) is a German actor .

Life

Williams worked primarily in European productions in the 1960s and 1970s. The sporty, elegant and handsome actor was often seen in films by Federico Fellini , José Bénazéraf and Jess Franco .

In addition to his film work, he was also known in Italy for countless "photoromanzo", illustrated love dramas in magazines. In 1973 the WDR produced a documentary about it with the title Once you will love me too - About the meaning of magazine novels , on which he also participated.

He later retired from acting. In 2007, he spoke the audio commentary on the German DVD's first release, Nachts When Dracula Wakes Up, and was featured in the short American video documentary Handsome Harker in 2015 , about his work with Jess Franco and Christopher Lee and other people involved in the movie Night when Dracula Wakes Up .

Fred Williams is married and has one son. He has his retirement home in Seeshaupt on Lake Starnberg .
