Freddy Buache
Freddy Buache (born December 29, 1924 in Lausanne - † May 28, 2019 ) was a Swiss journalist , film critic and film historian. From 1951 to 1996 he was director of the Swiss Film Archive and from 1966 to 1970 co-director of the Locarno film festival . From 1990 he taught as a private lecturer at the University of Lausanne . He was editor of the book series Cinéma vivant and Histoire et théorie du cinéma .
