Frederik von Hauch
Frederik von Hauch (* 1754 ; † 1839 ) was general post director in Denmark .
Life
From 1802 to 1810 he was mayor of Zealand and in this capacity also magistrate of the Faroe Islands , based in Copenhagen .
He was the son of General Andreas von Hauch (1708–1782), he was married to Karen Tank (1764–1802). Together they had their son Carsten Hauch (1790–1872), who later became a professor at the University of Copenhagen , poet and author.
