Per Fredrik Bremberg (born June 21, 1973 as Per Fredrik Lindquist in Stockholm ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who last played for HV71 Jönköping in the Swedish Elitserien .
Career
Fredrik Bremberg began his career as an ice hockey player at Huddinge IK , for which he made his professional ice hockey debut in the second-rate Division 1 in the 1989/90 season . The attacker then moved to Djurgårdens IF , with whom he became Swedish champions for the first time in his career in 1991 . He also won the European Cup with the team in 1991 and 1992 . In the 1991 NHL Entry Draft in the third round as the 55th player selected by the New Jersey Devils , for whom he never played. In the 1997/98 season he was the best assists in the Elitserien with 32 assists.
Then Bremberg received in the summer of 1998 a contract with the Edmonton Oilers , for which he was on the ice in eight games in the National Hockey League . However, he spent most of the 1998/99 season with their farm team , the Hamilton Bulldogs from the American Hockey League . After only one year, the Swede returned to Europe, where he played for HC Davos in the National League A in the 1999/2000 season.
After Bremberg was active in the Elitserien for Malmö IF from 2000 to 2002 , he then returned to Djurgårdens IF, for whom he has played since then. In the 2006/07 season he was also elected to the Swedish All-Star Team and received the Guldhjälmen . Since January 29, 2009 he has held the record for the most points in the main round of the Elitserien when he overtook his compatriot Jörgen Jönsson , who had set the record only ten days earlier. In the summer of 2009, the striker made another attempt abroad and signed with Atlant Mytishchi from the Continental Hockey League . However, these sorted him out before the start of the season, whereupon the Swede Jokerit from the Finnish SM-liiga joined. For the 2010/11 season he signed a contract with HV71 Jönköping . In September 2011, his contract was terminated.
In 2003 he had his last name changed from Lindquist to the current one.

For Sweden , Bremberg took part in the 1993 Junior World Championships and the 2000 and 2007 World Championships .
