Fredrik Nordström (music producer)
Björn Tom Fredrik Nordström (born January 5, 1967 ) is a Swedish musician and record producer . He is known, among other things, as a guitarist in the heavy metal band Dream Evil . Nordström is also one of Sweden's leading melodic death metal producers and has worked with some of the top acts in the subgenre and metal as a whole, including Dimmu Borgir , Bring Me the Horizon , Architects , At the Gates , Arch Enemy , Nightrage , Dark Tranquility , In Flames , Soilwork , Opeth and Powerwolf .
Career
Nordström has been fascinated by technology and music since his youth. He soon opened a small recording studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, mainly to record his own music. The studio developed into Studio Fredman , one of the leading Swedish recording studios, in which he works with his colleague Henrik Udd.
In 1999, Nordström formed the heavy metal band Dream Evil to release his own music. He plays guitar, keyboards and piano. Since 2010 Dream Evil have released six albums, one live DVD / CD set and two EPs. Today he is considered one of the top metal producers in Europe and one of the central figures of the Gothenburg melodic death metal style.
