Fredrik Nils Ohlander (born February 11, 1976 in Kungsbacka ) is a 2 m tall Swedish handball player .
Ohlander, who plays for the Swedish club IFK Kristianstad and played for the Swedish national team, was a handball goalkeeper .
Fredrik Ohlander started playing handball in Aranäs near his hometown. There he played u. a. with Pelle Linders . From HK Aranäs he went to the next largest club Önnereds HK , where he made his debut in the Swedish second division. In 1998 Ohlander moved - straight from the Swedish second - to the Danish first division for KIF Kolding . With the Jutlanders he won the Danish championship in 2001 and the double of championship and cup in 2002; he also moved into the semi-finals of the EHF Champions League in 2002 . This also made other clubs aware of Ohlander. In 2002 he was signed by FC Barcelona . With the Catalans he won the Spanish championship in 2003 and the Copa del Rey de Balonmano , the Spanish Supercup and the EHF Champions Trophy in 2004 . However, Ohlander was mostly only second goalkeeper behind David Barrufet , so that in 2004 he went to GWD Minden in the German handball Bundesliga . He stayed there for only a year before returning to his old club from Kolding in 2005. Here he won the Danish Championship again in 2006 and the Danish Cup in 2007. In the summer of 2008, Ohlander moved to the Spanish first division club BM Granollers . After three years in Spain, he rejoined KIF Kolding. From summer 2012 he will guard the gate of Ystads IF HF . In December 2014 he was loaned to IFK Kristianstad.
Fredrik Ohlander has played 64 caps for the Swedish national team so far . For the 2007 men's handball world championship in Germany, he could not qualify with Sweden; at the European handball championship in Norway in 2008 he was only part of the extended squad of his country.
