Reviews
Frei did not get any good criticism from laut.de , because they said that you can now listen to "... electrical snot-brat accidents in a disgusting, synthetic form ...". But there are also "... melancholy hours, absurd piano ballads ... and half-fast, pseudo-gloomy electro pop songs." ... Little girls would have their greatest joy "... cheapest pop ..."
The portal Spielemagazin, however, rated the album positively, because it "... definitely puts you in a good mood". All 13 songs on the record had "... significantly more depth" and they were "... maybe not so" striking "when it comes to the subject of" growing up ". ..."
The KiKA said about the album Frei that LaFee had now incorporated "... rock, disco, electro and industrial ..." into their songs. These were then of "... strings and choirs ..." [were accompanied] . The record "... is [now] based even more on pop. ..." In addition, all 13 tracks have become "... more varied and opulent ...", which was not the case with their previous albums.
