Shut Up (for literally English: "Shut your mouth") is the first English-language music album of the German pop-rock - singer LaFee . It was recorded at Tortuga Studios in Ibiza and released in Germany on June 27, 2008. According to LaFee, it is an album for their foreign fans so that they can understand their lyrics and thus the meaning and background of their songs.
This first and so far only English-language album by LaFee reached - unlike the two previous German-language albums, which reached first place in the album charts in Germany and Austria - 21st place in Germany and 31st place in Austria.
The song Shut Up (the English version of Heul but ) was released as a single shortly before the album was released.
The genre of this album can be defined as pop-rock , whereby, as in the first album, slight approaches to heavy metal can be recognized again. According to Pooltrax, this album is comparable in style to an album by Evanescence , Vanilla Ninja and Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht . Six songs from each of the albums “LaFee” and “Now especially right” were rewritten into English.

Reviews
“Positive about LaFee's latest trick are the successful translations, which are in no way inferior to the German ones. And of course there is no restraint here either. LaFee: "I sing about everything I want to sing about, the way I want to say it - why should it be any different in another language," she says. You can probably agree with that. "
