Fridolin Keck

Fridolin Keck (born February 24, 1943 in Freudenberg , Baden) is a German Catholic clergyman . From 2003 to 2015 he was Vicar General in the Archdiocese of Freiburg .

Life

Fridolin Keck received in the May 23, 1968 Jesuit church in Heidelberg the priesthood . Three days later he celebrated his in the Parish Church of St. Lawrence in Freudenberg First Mass . From 1972 to 1981 he was a student pastor at the University of Freiburg . From 1981 to 1999 he was pastor at the Jesuit Church in Heidelberg.

He was the personal deputy of the Archbishop of Freiburg and headed the Archbishop's Office of Freiburg , into which he was accepted in 1999. From October 1, 2003 to January 31, 2015, Fridolin Keck was vicar general in the Archdiocese of Freiburg, succeeding Otto Bechtold in office. His successor was Axel Mehlmann .
