Friedel Meinecke

Friedel Meinecke (* 16th November 1943 in Bielen ) is a German politician of the SPD and from 1998 up to the state election in 2002 a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1962, Meinecke began studying agricultural sciences at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg . He then worked at the Institute for Grain Research in Bernburg-Strenzfeld from 1968 to 1970 . From 1971 Meinecke was a technical college teacher at the agricultural engineering school in Biendorf . In 1977 he studied college education at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig .

Meinecke has two children.

Political party

In February 1990 he joined the SPD. Meinecke was from 1991 to 1993 chairman of the SPD sub-district Börde-Anhalt. From 1997 he was chairman of the SPD district association in Bernburg for many years .

MP

Meinecke was a member of the Bernburg district council from 1990 until the 2007 district reform . Meinecke was a member of the state parliament from 1998 to 2002 . He represented the constituency of Bernburg (Saale) and was a member of the committee for food, agriculture and forestry. For the local elections on May 26, 2019, he was re-elected to the district assembly of the Salzlandkreis , the Bernburg (Saale) city council and the Biendorf local council as a representative of the SPD . He is currently chairman of the local SPD association in Bernburg and the surrounding area.
