Biendorf is a district of the town of Bernburg (Saale) in the Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

Biendorf is located approx. 10 km southeast of the district town of Bernburg (Saale).
history
The place was first mentioned on November 2nd, 974 as Biendorp in Gau Serimunt . In 1844 158 people lived in Biendorf.
From January 1, 2005, the municipality of Biendorf belonged to the administrative community of Nienburg (Saale) . On January 1, 2010, the previously independent municipality was incorporated into the city of Bernburg (Saale) together with the municipalities of Baalberge , Gröna , Peißen , Poley , Preußlitz and Wohlsdorf .

Economy and Infrastructure
North of the municipality is the federal highway 185 , Bernburg (Saale) to Köthen (Anhalt) . The federal motorway 14 , which leads from Halle (Saale) to Magdeburg , is located south of the Biendorf. The community has a stop on the Köthen – Aschersleben railway line , which is served every hour.
Culture and sights
The Biendorf Castle is a late baroque structure from the 18th century. On the cemetery four designated with names and dates are Soviet prisoners of war and two unknowns been buried.
