Friedemann von Stockhausen

Friedemann von Stockhausen (born February 1, 1945 in Karlshafen ) is a German painter , photographer and university professor .

life and work

Von Stockhausen studied art history , ethnology and sociology at the University of Cologne from 1965 to 1969 and art at the Slade School in London from 1969 to 1973 . From 1994 to 2012 he was a professor at the HBK Braunschweig . He lives in Berlin .

Exhibitions and publications

He has had exhibitions at the Museum Folkwang, Essen (2012), the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg (2010), the Galeria Awangarda in Breslau (2004), the Art Museum, University of Memphis Art Museum (2000) and the Hamburger Kunsthalle ( 1990).
