St. Laurentius cemetery chapel (Freudenberg)

The Roman Catholic St. Laurentius cemetery chapel is located in Freudenberg in the Main-Tauber district and is consecrated to St. Laurentius . It is a Romanesque building with a choir tower from the 12th century. The Laurentius Chapel is located at the local cemetery. The chapel is a cultural monument of the city of Freudenberg and stands along with a cemetery wall with Lawrence Relief and arched portal (1611) and numerous grave times (from the 15th to the early 20th century, including priests epitaphs) as a material entity under monument protection . There is also an old Laurentius church and a new parish church of St. Laurentius in the city. These belong to the Freudenberg pastoral care unit, which is assigned to the Tauberbischofsheim deanery of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .
