Friedrich-Georg Brinkmann (born March 16, 1898 in Bad Essen , Wittlage district , † March 6, 1975 in Hanover ) was a German politician ( NSDAP / FDP ).

Life

Brinkmann attended the Bad Essen elementary school from 1906 to 1909, the Bad Essen Rector's School from 1909 to 1913 and the commercial college from 1913 to 1915. He then took part in the First World War. Brinkmann had been a member of the NSDAP since October 1, 1930 ( membership number 314.223). On May 1, 1931, he joined the SA , in which he reached the rank of Standartenführer. From 1931 to 1932 he worked as a commercial clerk and sales representative, after which he was unemployed until 1933.

In 1933 he was appointed full-time city councilor of the city of Neumünster . According to § 2ff. of the ordinance repealing the re-examination of the denazification decisions of June 30, 1949, Brinkmann was denazified in category V (unencumbered) with effect from September 1, 1950.

Brinkmann had been a member of the FDP since 1950. In the same year he became district chairman of the FDP in the Osnabrück district association. Until September 1955 he was a member of the state executive committee of the FDP Lower Saxony .

In the second to fourth electoral term he became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from April 17, 1953 to May 5, 1963. In the state parliament he was secretary from May 26, 1955 to May 5, 1959.
