Friedrich-Joseph von Brühl

Maria Friedrich-Joseph Hubertus Michael Rupert Count von Brühl (born March 27, 1875 in Pförten , † January 24, 1949 in Herten ) was a hereditary member of the Prussian manor and Fideikommissherr .

Family and life

Brühl came from an old Saxon-Thuringian noble family with ancestral home at Gangloffsommern in Thuringia , which had come to power and influence especially in Saxony . As a result of the Seven Years' War, the family-owned Pförten family came into Prussian territory, but remained in the family's possession and established the right to a hereditary seat in the Prussian manor house .

He was the son of Friedrich-Franz Graf von Brühl (1848–1911) and after the death of his father, as the eldest son, inherited his estates, including estates in Straussfurt , Oegeln, Kummeltitz, Weltho and Mehlen in addition to the former estates of Forst and Pförten in the Guben district .

Count von Brühl became captain .

His son was the officer Friedrich-August von Brühl .
