Friedrich von Pfalz-Vohenstrauß-Parkstein (born April 11, 1557 in Meisenheim , † December 17, 1597 at Schloss Friedrichsburg near Vohenstrauß ) was the fourth son of Wolfgang von Pfalz-Zweibrücken and Anna von Hessen . He was raised Evangelical-Lutheran in the castle of Neuburg .

Since he was only 12 years old when his father died, his older brother Philipp Ludwig took over the guardianship. When he came of age in 1581, he could inherit. He inherited the rule of the Flossenbürg care office with the Floß and Vohenstrauss markets as well as the Palatinate-Neuburg part of the Parkstein - Weiden office .

On February 26, 1587 he married Katharina Sophia von Liegnitz (1561–1608), a daughter of the Silesian Duke Heinrich XI. from Liegnitz . They had three children who died at the age of a few months: the daughter Anna Sophie (1588–1589) and the twins Georg Friedrich and Friedrich Kasimir (* / † 1590).

From 1586 to 1593 he had Friedrichsburg Castle built near Vohenstrauss. After he moved there in 1593, the small town flourished. After his death in 1597 the castle became a widow's seat. Friedrich was buried with his sons on February 21, 1598 in the family vault in St. Martin in Lauingen. Since he had no surviving descendants, Parkstein fell to his brother Philipp Ludwig von Pfalz-Neuburg.
