Friedrich Albert von Oertzen

Friedrich Albert (Albrecht) von Oertzen (born August 3, 1797 in Kittendorf , † July 28, 1873 in Berlin ) was a Mecklenburg-Schwerin government official and German parliamentarian.

Life

Friedrich Albert von Oertzen was born as the son of the Mecklenburg landowner and district administrator Gustav Dietrich von Oertzen and Henritte née. from Pechlin . He studied law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin and in 1820 became a member of the Corps Vandalia I. In 1821, he became an auditor at the law firm in Schwerin . In 1824 he was appointed to the chancellery cum voto consultativo . In 1829 he was appointed government assessor and in 1831 government councilor. In 1843 he was appointed government director and 2nd member of the Grand Ducal Government in Schwerin. In 1846 he was vice president of the state government. In September 1849 he left at his own request.

Oertzen was the owner of the Trechow manor. In 1850 he was a member of the state house of the Erfurt Union Parliament .
