Friedrich August von Haeseler (Chief Forester)

Friedrich August von Haeseler , also Häseler , (* December 2, 1729 ; † February 4, 1796 in Schleusingen ) was an electoral Saxon chamberlain and hunting junior as well as chief forestry and game master. In 1756 he acquired the manor Gößnitz from his father August von Haeseler and, after his death, Klosterhäseler with the estates Dittersroda and Pleismar. Professionally he worked mainly in Schleusingen in the Saxon part of the county of Henneberg . From 1782 he was also the owner of the Allzunah glassworks , but it had come to a standstill.

Friedrich August von Haeseler and his underage nephew August Ferdinand von Haeseler concluded a traditional recession in 1771. Klosterhäseler took over Friedrich August, while Gößnitz received August Ferdinand.

He was married three times. On February 18, 1766, he married Karoline Luise Wilhelmine von Hopfgarten (* November 1, 1745 - † February 4, 1767). After the death of his first wife, he married Sophie Luise Christine von Thümmel (* July 3, 1746, † August 9, 1781). The couple had the following children:

  • Friedrich August (* July 31, 1779; † June 26, 1854), Lord of Klosterhäseler, Dietrichroda and Pleisma ⚭ Josephine de Quesnoy (* March 20, 1787; † September 20, 1793)
  • Luise Isabella Charlotte (* November 18, 1780; † February 16, 1855) ⚭ 1800 Freiherr Emil von Lynker († January 7, 1851)

On March 4, 1782 he married Sophie Wilhelmine von Wurmb (* November 7, 1761; † September 20, 1793). The couple had the following children:

  • Wilhelmine Frederike Sophie (* May 10, 1783; † 1856), founder of the Haeseler-von-Ende-Foundation ⚭ Karl Heinrich Konstantin von Ende
  • Ludwig Georg August (born January 21, 1788; † 1813)

  • Heinrich Adolf August (October 27, 1790 - July 1, 1868), Lieutenant Colonel ⚭ Emilie Charlotte von Könneritz (April 26, 1799 - June 6, 1840)
  • Ferdinand Rudolf Ernst August (* May 9, 1792 - May 10, 1869), Lord of Gößnitz, Saxon Chamberlain and Landjägermeister ⚭ Paulie Johanna Charlotte Auguste Frederike von Germar († August 14, 1882)
