Friedrich Ecker

Friedrich Fritz Ecker (born February 6, 1859 in Cologne , † June 14, 1924 in Tegernsee ) was a German administrative lawyer and parliamentarian.

Life

Friedrich Ecker studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1879 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. He completed his government traineeship with the government in Düsseldorf . In 1890 he passed the exam as a government assessor . In 1900 he was appointed district administrator for the district of Winsen . He held the office until his retirement.

Ecker was the deputy chairman of the Nature Conservation Park Association . In his commitment to nature conservation in the Lüneburg Heath , he and Pastor Wilhelm Bode prevented the planned reforestation of the Wilseder Berg in 1909 . From 1908 to 1918, as a member of the National Liberal Party , he was a member of the Lüneburg constituency 6 of the Prussian House of Representatives .
