Friedrich Gustav Hagemann

Friedrich Gustav Hagemann (* 1760 in Oranienburg ; † around 1830 Breslau ) was a German actor and dramaturge .

Life

Little is known about Hagemann's life. Hagemann obviously enjoyed a good education , then went to university, but did not graduate, instead turned to the passion he already practiced during his studies, namely acting and the stage . In 1785 Hagemann's name appears for the first time in the Gotha theater calendar. Hagemann is listed in it for Hamburg and is described as a happy beginner. But he had already brought out a play in Hamburg in 1783 with The Recruit . He was also in Hanover , Stralsund , Bremen , Altona, among othersand finally active in Wroclaw . He died there after 1829, but before 1835.

A number of his plays have survived, some of which were spread as far as Vienna .
