Friedrich Haas (politician, 1846)

Johann Georg Friedrich Haas (born October 18, 1846 in Nuschelberg , † August 22, 1912 in Munich ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a farmer, Haas studied law in Erlangen after attending grammar school in Nuremberg . During his studies he became a member of the Bubenreuther fraternity in 1866 . In the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71 he took part in the 6th Jäger Battalion , most recently as a second lieutenant . After his exams in 1873 he became a law student in Nuremberg and then worked as a lawyer in Munich from 1879 . In 1896 he became a judiciary . From 1905 to 1911 he was chairman of the board of directors of the Bar Association of Upper Bavaria . In 1907 he was awarded the Imperial Councilor of the Crown of Bavaria for life and in 1912 with the Cross of Honor of the Order of Merit of St. Michael .
