Friedrich Hanser

Friedrich Hanser (born July 14, 1898 in Munich , † May 13, 1976 in Heilbronn ) was a teacher and local politician.

Life

Hanser received teacher training at the teacher training college in Karlsruhe and then further training for teaching at commercial vocational schools. He completed his first professional years at the trade schools in Pfullendorf and Heidelberg . In Heidelberg he was also a member of the city parliament from 1928 to 1933. As a social democrat , he was transferred several times after 1933. From 1940 to 1945 he served as a major in the reserve. From 1947 he was a member of the Heilbronn local council, where he was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group and deputy mayor from 1948. From 1949 to 1956 he was principal at the boys' school in the Rosenau School . In 1952 he ran for the Bundestag . From 1956 to 1964 he was the cultural and social mayor of the city of Heilbronn. When he retired in 1964, he was awarded the City's Ring of Honor, and in 1965 he was also awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class.
