Friedrich Hendrix

Friedrich Hendrix (born January 6, 1911 in Aachen , † August 30, 1941 in Proletarskaja near Leningrad , Soviet Union ) was a German athlete who won the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles won (together with Helmut Körnig , Erich Borchmeyer and Arthur Jonath / Friedrich Hendrix as second runner). He also took part in the 200-meter individual race at these Olympic Games , but was eliminated in the intermediate run (21.9 s).

Friedrich Hendrix married the successful German 100-meter runner Marie Dollinger (Olympic participant 1928, 1932, 1936). His daughter Brunhilde Hendrix (1938-1995) was also a successful sprinter and won at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, like her father, the silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

Friedrich Hendrix started for Schwarz-Rot Aachen . With a height of 1.70 m, he had a competition weight of 63 kg.
