Friedrich Hetling

Friedrich Hetling (born August 21, 1906 in Osnabrück ; † May 14, 1987 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Hetling attended secondary school in Osnabrück and began studying economics and sociology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and in Vienna . He had been a member of the Free Trade Union since 1924 and in the same year became a member of the Socialist Workers' Youth and the SPD. Until 1944 he worked as a commercial clerk in Hirschberg in the Giant Mountains and was taken prisoner by the Soviets, from which he was released in 1946.

Hetling was elected as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from April 20, 1947 to April 30, 1951 in the first electoral term.
