Friedrich Knollmann

Friedrich Knollmann (born March 15, 1880 in Alstaden , † April 16, 1920 in Berlin ) was a German politician of the DNVP .

Life and work

After attending elementary school in Alstaden, Knollmann, who was of Protestant faith, switched to the arts and crafts school in Elberfeld . From 1896 to 1899 he completed an apprenticeship as a bookbinder. After years of traveling and journeyman, he passed the master craftsman's examination in 1906 and worked in Gelsenkirchen and Hagen . In 1908 he attended the brother seminary in Witten . He was involved in the Christian trade union and in the Protestant workers' association . From 1909 he worked as a workers and trade union secretary in Unna , Cologne , Leipzig and finally in Posen .

Knollmann was a member of the Weimar National Assembly in 1919/20 .
